Product Description
This 1959 Hong Kong Government Queen Elizabeth II Green Dollar Banknote, Pick #324Ab, Serial Number 6M 739187, was printed by the Bradbury Wilkinson (BWC) Printing House in the UK. The obverse features a portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II, with the words "Hong Kong Government" written vertically in reverse. Both sides bear the inscription "One Dollar" and the date of issue, July 17, 1959, along with the signature of Financial Secretary Arthur Clarke. The reverse features a full-page green radial security thread with the words "ONE DOLLAR" in large characters in the center. It is a classic post-war Hong Kong legal tender bearing the Queen's head design.
