Product Description

The 1959 Hong Kong Government Queen Elizabeth I One Dollar Green Banknote, Pick #324Ab, serial number 6E 291530, was printed by the British BWC Bradbury Wilkinson Printing House. The obverse features a portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II, with the words "Hong Kong Government" and "One Dollar" written vertically on both sides, signed by Financial Secretary Arthur Clarke. The issue date is July 1, 1959. The reverse features a full-page green radial security feature and the large characters "ONE DOLLAR" in the center. It is a classic post-war Hong Kong Queen Elizabeth I green one-dollar legal tender. Certified and encapsulated by PMG, an internationally recognized authority on banknote authentication:

  • Graded 67 EPQ (Superb Gem Uncirculated), top-tier super uncirculated, original high-quality paper, the banknote surface is free of creases, stains, and yellowing, with clear and complete engraving lines; the seal is printed with a unique verification QR code, which can be logged into the PMG website to verify the authentication file online, globally certified for authenticity.
  • Thickened transparent PMG professional grading casing, completely isolating dust, moisture, and oxidation, permanently protecting the banknote's original condition and preventing the paper from becoming brittle and discolored.
