Product Description
This is a 1947 North Korean first-generation 100-yen watermark banknote, Pick #11a, serial number H 361961. The obverse features portraits of workers and peasants, with the inscription "North Korean Central Bank Note" vertically on the left. It includes bilingual text in Korean and Chinese. The reverse features a panoramic view of Mount Paektu, with the year of issue, 1947, marked at the bottom. It is the highest-denomination collectible banknote in North Korea's first set of banknotes.
The paper is clean, the red printing is rich and vibrant, the engraving lines are complete and clear, with only minor signs of circulation. There are no holes, mold, or severe creases. It comes with a transparent protective bag for safe storage.
