Product Description
This is a 1947 North Korean first-generation 10 Yen watermark original, Pick #10, serial number ㅂ 014724; the obverse features portraits of two workers and peasants, with the Chinese characters "North Korean Central Bank Note" in vertical lines on the left, in both Chinese and Hangul; the reverse features a landscape of Mount Paektu, with the year of issue, 1947, marked at the bottom. It is a classic mid-denomination banknote from North Korea's first legal tender.
This is a used, original circulation note. The paper is naturally yellowed, with slight wear on the edges. The portraits, text, and security features are intact and clear, without damage, large areas of mold, or any artificial treatment such as washing, ironing, or patching.
