• The overall design features a retro-style engraved pattern in purple-blue and beige. The top is inscribed with "THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT CURRENCY NOTE" and the face value of 10 PIASTRES.

• The main image on the left is of the Muhammad Ali Mosque, with a radiating, finely engraved background highlighting the building's outline. The large oval blank area on the right is where the original banknote stamping would have been placed.

• Below is the signature of the Minister of Finance, "M. Elghareeb.", and his title, "MINISTER OF FINANCE." The four corners and border are decorated with European-style scrolling floral engravings, and the number 10 is repeated in the upper right and lower left corners.

• The main text is Arabic, with the name of the Egyptian Arab Republic written at the top and the denomination in Arabic on the left and right sides;

• The central image on the right side features the Sphinx and the pyramids, iconic symbols of ancient Egyptian civilization; the oval area on the left displays a double Arabic signature and the words "Ministry of Finance";
