Product Description

1970-1975 Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong 100 Dollar Note, Pick #76a, commonly known as the "Red House Pier 100 Dollar," serial number E711919; the obverse features the former Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building, with the Royal Shield in the center, the words "Standard Chartered Bank" in traditional Chinese characters at the top, and "Hong Kong" on both sides, along with the signatures of the accountant and the Hong Kong General Manager; the reverse features a scene of Victoria Harbour's shipping docks and ships in the 1970s. Both sides are printed with red engraving, produced by Thomas Denalou Printing House in the UK, a classic old 100 dollar circulation note from the colonial era.

This is a genuine, circulated old note. The paper has obvious creases and slight yellowing from age. The entire design, text, and borders are intact, without tears, missing corners, or severe stains. It has not been cleaned, ironed, or repaired.
