Product Description

This is a 1947 North Korean 100-yen banknote, original, without watermark, Pick #11Ab, serial number 893073. The obverse features portraits of workers and peasants, with the Chinese characters "North Korean Central Bank Note" written vertically on the left. It is stamped with the official seal of the central bank in red, and the banknote is marked in both Korean and Chinese. The reverse features a panoramic view of Mount Paektu, with the year of issue, 1947, printed at the bottom. It is the highest denomination collectible banknote in the first set of circulating banknotes after the founding of North Korea.

The paper is clean, the red intaglio printing is rich and layered, and the engraving is complete and clear. Only minor original circulation creases remain; there is no damage, mold, or repair marks. It comes with a special transparent protective bag for storage.
