1959 North Korean 50 Won banknote, Pick #16, Serial Number GNG718357; The obverse features an agricultural woman holding ears of wheat, with "Central Bank of Korea" above and the Korean denomination "오십원 (Fifty Won)" printed on both sides. The overall color scheme is a retro purple-blue. The reverse features the national emblem, the Taedong River Bridge, and cityscapes, along with the country's name "People's Republic of Korea." It also features a geometric watermark. This is North Korea's second set of classic agricultural-themed banknotes.
