This is a 1947 North Korean 1-yen banknote with a watermark, Pick #8a, serial number R/LB/P579400. The obverse features images of workers and peasants, with the words "North Korean Central Bank Note" and "One Yen" written in traditional Chinese characters, along with the denomination in Korean. The reverse features a landscape of Mount Paektu. This was the basic denomination of the first set of circulating banknotes after the founding of North Korea. Authenticated and packaged by ACG:
