Product Overview

1980 Issue 50 Yuan banknote (commonly known as "8050" and regarded as the "King" of the Fourth Series RMB); features the "JZ" replacement prefix (serial number JZ19733573). The obverse depicts the classic portraits of a worker, a farmer, and an intellectual, while the reverse features an engraved image of the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River. As a specialized replacement prefix, the "JZ" series had a very limited print run; its surviving population is far lower than that of standard circulation prefixes, making it a rare and highly sought-after variety within the Fourth Series RMB.

Professionally graded and encapsulated by CCGA:

  • Grade: 68 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality). Top-tier, pristine, original condition; the paper is flat and crisp with rich, vibrant colors. Free from creases, foxing, or artificial cleaning/repairs. "EPQ" signifies an original, untreated state. The encapsulation label includes a built-in QR code for authenticity verification, allowing access to the full grading record.
  • High-clarity, sealed grading holder: Protects against dust, moisture, and oxidation, preserving the banknote's condition over the long term and preventing wear or damage from daily storage.
