Product Overview

1980 Issue 50-Yuan Note (known as "8050" and the "King" of the Fourth Series RMB); features the "GR" prefix—the final prefix issued before production ceased ("terminal prefix")—with serial number GR00359211. The obverse displays the classic portraits of a worker, a farmer, and an intellectual, while the reverse features an engraved image of the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River. As a terminal prefix from the end of the production run, it is extremely rare and holds exceptional collectible value.
