Product Description

This is a 1983 Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) 100 Dollar Red Lion Banknote, serial number ZE102828. The obverse features the British Royal Arms Griffin, the date of issue (March 31, 1983), and the signatures of two senior executives. It was printed by the British Printing House. The reverse features the old HSBC headquarters building, flanked by reclining lions, and an octagonal dragon security feature. It is a classic HSBC 100 Dollar banknote in red, old circulation condition.

The banknote is in good circulated condition. There are creases and slight yellowing. The engraving is complete and clear. The lettering, signature, and background are intact. It is untouched by washing or repairs and is suitable for collectors of used banknotes.
