2002 (Juche 91) People's Republic of Korea 1 Won Aluminum Pattern Coin, Numista No. 34222; The obverse features the standard national emblem of North Korea, surrounded by the Hangul inscription "Central Bank of the People's Republic of Korea," with the denomination "1 Won" below. Olive branch motifs adorn the left and right sides. The reverse features the Kim Il-sung flower as the main image, surrounded by the Hangul inscription "Immortal Flower 'Kim Il-sung Flower'," with the year Juche 91 (2002) below. The rim is decorated with dots.
This is a pattern coin minted exclusively for design review and archival purposes. It was never officially released into circulation. The relief is rich and three-dimensional, and the coin retains its original luster. Only minor original die marks remain. There is no wear, scratches, or oxidation spots, making it a rare and collectible modern North Korean coin.
