Product Description

This set is a complete set of official North Korean Central Bank foreign exchange coins, packaged in a blue flocked box. It contains four aluminum coins:1 Chon, 5 Chon, 10 Chon, and 50 Chon. Belonging to the "Double Star" series, this set was exclusively for exchange by visitors from capitalist countries. It is a matching collectible with the "Single Star" series in a red flocked box (for visitors from socialist countries). This set is a unique and representative historical artifact of currency from the Cold War's special foreign exchange control system.

The complete set comes with an original transparent plastic protective box from the Central Bank, lined with blue flocking. The back of the box is engraved with the official telephone and fax number of the Central Bank of North Korea. This is an original set directly issued to foreign countries, with no signs of later additions or assembly.
