Front Design Details

• The overall color scheme is a retro purple-brown, with a border covered in Islamic geometric patterns;

• The top features the full name of the Saudi Monetary Authority in Arabic script, while the central section depicts the Saudi Monetary Authority building, blending Arabic arches with modern architectural design to recreate the architectural style of the country's financial center at the time;

• The image includes two Arabic numeral serial numbers: 156/199939. The bottom displays the denomination "One Riyal" in Arabic script, accompanied by an official's signature;

• The large oval white area on the left is the watermark location, revealing the Saudi coat of arms when held up to the light. The entire page features a finely textured background for security.

Reverse Banknote Details

• The background is light pinkish-beige, with the issuing institution "SAUDI ARABIAN MONETARY AGENCY" in English at the top, and the number 1 engraved in each of the four corners;

• The left side features intricate geometric openwork Arabic star patterns, a typical example of traditional Islamic engraving art;

• The Saudi national emblem is printed within a double-arched central section: a date palm tree paired with crossed swords, a symbol of the country;
