Product Description
This is a collection of three mint-condition, uncirculated Soviet 1-ruble treasury note from 1938 (Miner's Edition, Pick #P-213). These are classic pre-World War II Soviet banknotes, in circulation throughout the Great Patriotic War, and are considered standard collectibles of early Soviet socialist-themed banknotes. ## Front Design Details
- The top is marked with the Russian inscription "USSR State Treasury Bonds (ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ КАЗНАЧЕЙСКИЙ БИЛЕТ СССР)," and the lower left corner is engraved with the Soviet hammer and sickle emblem;
- The center features the Russian inscription "Один рубль (One Ruble)" in cursive script, against a background of finely wavy engraving. The main color of the bond is warm orange-brown;
- The main image on the right is a portrait of a Soviet coal miner, wearing a miner's helmet and holding a jackhammer, symbolizing heavy industry and proletarian construction. This is a classic Soviet propaganda design from the 1930s;
- The bottom indicates the year of issue, 1938, and includes Russian text explaining its legal circulation status. It was legally valid in all government agencies and enterprises throughout the Soviet Union;

Reverse Details
- Large Russian text "ОДИН РУБЛЬ" is printed within an octagonal floral frame in the center;
- The denominations are printed in the native languages of the 15 constituent republics of the Soviet Union (Ukrainian, Armenian, Turkic, Georgian, etc.), reflecting the multi-ethnic federation nature of the Soviet Union;
- Full-page double-engraved security features (colorful interlaced floral patterns), with symmetrical "1" numbers in the four corners against a background of finely interwoven purple-red mesh;
- The denomination text is marked in Ukrainian and Belarusian on the top and bottom edges respectively, demonstrating complex craftsmanship and extremely high-quality engraving printing.
Condition Description
All three banknotes are in near-mint condition (UNC), with no creases, perforations, large yellowing spots, or repairs. The paper is crisp, the engraving lines are complete and clear, the ink colors are saturated, and the serial numbers are sharp. Only slight yellowing at the edges indicates age. They have been preserved unwashed and are suitable for long-term collection.
