This is a complete set of 6 banknotes from the first reprint of North Korean banknotes issued in 1947 without watermarks. It includes 3 Yuan notes and 3 subsidiary currency notes. The obverse of all banknotes features a portrait of workers and peasants side-by-side, with the Chinese characters "North Korean Central Bank Note" written vertically on the left, stamped with the official red seal of the central bank, and accompanied by a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) issuance notice and individual serial numbers. The reverse features a landscape of Mount Paektu (Yuan notes) and decorative borders (Limited currency notes), representing classic Soviet-style banknotes from before the founding of North Korea.
