Product Description
This is a 1947 North Korean 5-won banknote with a watermark, Pick #9, printed by the Goznak Printing Plant in the Soviet Union, serial number NR263875. The obverse features a main image of workers and peasants, with the words "North Korean Central Bank Note" in vertical text, accompanied by Chinese and Korean text and an official seal. The reverse features Mount Paektu as the main image, with the Korean characters "오원" and the Chinese characters "伍圆" (5 Won) on the left and right respectively. It is a classic first-edition banknote from the founding of the nation and includes an original security watermark.
